IS Chelsie THE RIGHT THERAPIST FOR YOU?

As an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), I am passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and personal growth. My professional experience includes over a decade of working with youth in educational and community settings, helping young people build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop the confidence to move toward their goals.

I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and BIPOC clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, identity exploration, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, behavioral concerns, or substance use issues. I understand that culture, community, family expectations, systemic barriers, and lived experiences can significantly impact mental health, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, affirmed, and empowered to show up as their authentic selves.

My clinical background includes providing social-emotional support, behavioral interventions, substance use counseling, crisis intervention, and case management for youth, as well as conducting forensic evaluations and biopsychosocial assessments in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based. I draw from evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing, solution-focused interventions, and mindfulness-based strategies, to help clients identify their strengths, process challenges, and create meaningful change. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, navigating a major life transition, exploring your identity, or simply seeking a space to be heard, I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you on your journey.

I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults of all ages and am dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where clients from diverse backgrounds feel respected, understood, and valued.
