A Message from Carrie:

Becoming the clinician you want to be takes more than meeting supervision requirements. It takes space to ask questions, think critically, build confidence, and develop a professional identity that feels authentic to you.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and experienced Clinical Supervisor, I am passionate about supporting the next generation of compassionate, competent, and ethical mental health professionals. My approach to supervision is collaborative and strengths-based, with a focus on clinical excellence, cultural humility, reflection, and continued professional growth.

Throughout my career, I have provided individual and group therapy in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, private practice, outpatient programs, and veteran services. My clinical background includes working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and diverse populations navigating complex mental health concerns. I have also had the opportunity to train, mentor, and supervise therapy interns and associate clinicians as they strengthen their skills and grow into their roles as therapists.

In supervision, I want you to have room to bring the questions, uncertainties, and challenging cases that naturally come with becoming a clinician. Together, we can strengthen your clinical judgment, explore different approaches to client care, reflect on your experiences in the therapy room, and make sure your work remains both ethical and responsive to the people you serve.

I currently supervise therapy interns and associate social workers working toward licensure. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where feedback can be thoughtful and direct, questions are encouraged, and you have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

Supervision is more than oversight. It is mentorship, support, reflection, and an investment in the clinician you are becoming and the clients you will serve throughout your career.
