Finding Joy During Isolation
Finding Joy During Isolation
Have you been noticing that you’ve been experiencing some sadness, grief or feelings of loss since the shelter-in-place order has been put in place? Join us weekly in our new support class on Finding Joy During Isolation. Each week we will review methods to combat feelings of loneliness/depression/sadness from a clinical and therapeutic perspective while brainstorming practical ideas for finding joy during this time. As a part of this group, we will build bonds, forge friendships, create fun and support one another as we work through this unusual time together.
Classes will be facilitated by Jasmine Ali, MSW/ACSW, a local psychotherapist that works primarily with trauma in minority and underserved populations. Jasmine Ali is a private practice psychotherapist, an Adjunct Professor of Social Work at CSU Sacramento and the Trauma & Crisis Intervention Coordinator at Opening Doors, Inc.
Classes will begin on April 1st!
