Do you find yourself unhappy in your current relationship with self or others, or have you forgotten what it means to “be yourself?” Maybe it’s that you don’t feel safe in your body or with emotional intimacy, or that you feel disconnected from who you are. You’re thinking that therapy will help, but what do you need? Is it skills to get through the day? To overcome past trauma or current family conflict? To feel more connected to yourself and others? Maybe that’s the hope you have for yourself or your child and why you want to start counseling, but you need something more than accessing and understanding emotions, you want change.

Together we will track and understand unsettling yet important feelings you have about yourself, your past, and your relationships with others. Working with me, you may find yourself feeling less stressed and anxious, develop deeper connections, find increased capacity to regulate emotions, and experience greater levels of trust and intimacy in relationships.

In session, we will work to bring deeper awareness to the thoughts, reactions, and impulses that get in your way. You’ll feel confident making changes that are both effective towards your goals and in line with your core values and passions. You will leave therapy with strategies and practical skills that will help you meet the challenges that life may bring
