A message from Benjamin:

We live in a world of constant noise. Boxed in with busy schedules and an endless drip of information, it can feel like making space for our physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing is impossible. When do we get the chance to breathe? Whether working with children or adults, the therapy room is YOUR space to breathe. When you have space to process and express the messiness of life, you tap into a universal human ability: to heal, to grow, to flourish.

Keeping our focus for positive change becomes much more complicated―and much more intense―when we are worried about the health of our children or family. Sometimes that space requires playing with lego blocks and sand; other times that requires tuning into your body and intimately embracing your pain. For you or your child, whatever your space requires, I follow your lead.

For youth with academic, emotional, or behavioral concerns, my approach centers on constructing new meanings with our hands through play and art. I can also offer support for navigating complex school systems.

When working with adults, I can offer somatic and therapeutic contemplative approaches.
